The Wefunder is a public-facing campaign, and we’ve listed the perks we’re willing to provide to people who have stumbled across our project for the first time.
If you’re reading this, you’re a long-time member of our community and eligible for private perks as a special thank you for your continued support. We cannot list the private perks publicly on Wefunder - but we have a record of each of your e-mail addresses and will assign perks to the appropriate groups after the conclusion of our raise.
Absolutely - many people did not claim the first round perks, and we recognize our communication on that was not clear enough. We will be sending everybody a batch of codes associated with their investments to be used on any future launch and at your will. The codes never expire, but are not transferrable (if you’re redeeming for a friend/family member no problem, we’re just not allowing re-sale or redistribution of the codes) so feel free to use them at will. The distribution will happen prior to our next public launch.
All perks are guaranteed, we will be providing you codes in order to place orders at your own will, and shipping out other perks when you place your orders. Our aim is to ensure all in vestor perks are delivered within 12 months of the closing of each round.
We have set the valuation at 10m as a result of our revenue and a blended multiple of 10x Revenue. So far we’ve done over $1m in revenue since inception, and we’ve grown substantially since. Between the value of our technology, the fact we own and operate our own manufacturing facility, and our growing social media following, we’ve valued the company accordingly.
We also believe that this is a valuation in line with what we will be raising our priced Seed Round at, meaning that is a valuation that is realistic enough to ensure that your shares execute.
A SAFE agreement, which stands for “Simple Agreement for Future Equity,” is a way for people to invest money in a startup company without getting shares right away. Instead, they get the right to receive shares in the future when the company raises more money or meets certain milestones. Because start-up shares can’t be traded like standard shares on the stock market, the SAFE acts as essentially an IOU for shares at a point in the future.

Investment Today, Shares Later: When you sign a SAFE agreement, you give money to the company now, but instead of getting shares right away, you’ll get them later when the company raises more money from other investors. This is typically because early stage shares cannot be sold, liquidated, or traded, so there’s no reason for an investor to hold onto the shares until later in the companies life.

How It Works: The SAFE agreement outlines the terms under which you’ll receive your shares. For example, if the company becomes more valuable in the future, the SAFE also allows you to buy future shares at a discount as a thank you for your investment.

No Debt: Unlike a loan, a SAFE agreement isn’t debt. The company doesn’t have to pay you back with cash. Instead, you’re betting that the company will grow and that your shares will be worth more later on.

High Risk, High Reward: Investing with a SAFE can be risky because startups can fail, but if the company does well, your investment could be worth much more in the future.

Our goal is to raise a priced round within about 12 months, meaning your SAFE agreements will execute to shares at that point in time. At that point you will hold shares in slø and should we be acquired, go public on a stock market, merge with another company, or sell additional shares in the company, you will see a return on your investment.
We do believe slø has the potential to be acquired in the future by a major fashion conglomerate (it would have to be the right offer for the planet, and maintaining the integrity of our model), but ultimately given our unique sales, manufacturing, and tech models, we believe we’re in a prime position to add tremendous value to other fashion companies.
